Back from a few says camping - rather cool and wet few days. Nothing much is growing very quickly, but plenty of weeding and grass clearing to do.
Before we went away planted out all the remaining veg's - including the squashes along th eback and all the sweetcorn in the area dug over for that.
Hacked-sawed into shed#12 adjacent to the plot (after consulting with Lawrence) as I can swap my previous shed to this one. Inside was a sturdy looking petrol rotary mower plus a rotavator, that look like they were the tools left from previous society lottery grant purchases.

Continued to work on the sweet corn bed - dug over and leveled. Bought some sweetcorn seedlings and transplanted into pots at home ready to plant out.
Bought some more peas to fill in gaps in main pea area.
Planted most of the cabages from pots in bed, bottom 2nd from left, and covered with a polytunnel for now. Gave up with dwarf bean seeds -- nothing germinated or all got eaten.
Planted some bought dwarf beans in top bit of 3rd from left bed - about 3" high. Lets see if they survive.
Purchased some carrot and beetroot seedlings and planted in Michael and Tom's beds.
Dug over the squash bed -- bottom right -- and dug in a little of the menu/straw/wood chippings mix from allotment site.
Weather: Been cloudy for a few days and rained alot late on Saturday. Cool, cloudy but dry on Sunday.

Finished extending the bed for sweetcorn; now it's 5' by 14' and all dug over.
Using excess soil to earth up the potatoes, which are doing very well.
Weeded the peas (Mum) and put some string over whole area to support peas if they get that high; very damaged shoots so far; string should help to keep off pigeons. Not much help if damage was from slugs or mice though.
To right of sweetcorn bed dug over a smallish area and planted 12 broad beans, bought from Woldens. Planted thru' holes in plastic matting.
Finally dug up last of leeks and finsihed digging over that whole bed.
